YouSpeakPlus is designed and developed by an experienced English language trainer. The starting point is always a teacher's question: "What do learners actually need to move from recognition to confident use?"

Every pathway, story, and activity is crafted to respect your time, build reusable language, and connect new patterns to real-life use.

The Pedagogical Engine

From LOTs to HOTs, spaced over time, anchored in lexis.

• Bloom's Taxonomy → pathways move you from remembering and understanding to applying, analysing, and creating with language.
• Spaced Repetition (SRS) → key vocabulary and patterns return over time at increasing intervals, building long-term retention.
• Lexis first → focus on words, phrases, and collocations in meaningful contexts, with grammar embedded in use.
• Scenario-based learning → realistic situations link language to the tasks you actually need to perform.
• Scaffolded listening across levels → in the Talking Points modules, the same story is available at A2, B1/B2, and C1. The lower level is fully scaffolded; scaffolding is gradually reduced as you move up. This means even an A2 listener can step up to the C1 version quickly, using the easier version as a bridge.

Instead of "just watch Netflix and hope it clicks one day", YouSpeakPlus gives you the same content, graded and scaffolded by level, week after week, across five new stories. That repetition with structured support is what accelerates listening comprehension.
