Dear Team,

I’m writing to explain our updated office guidelines. First, I must inform you about some important changes to our security procedures.

All employees have to wear their ID badges at all times while in the building. You don’t have to wear them during lunch breaks outside, but you should keep them with you. You mustn’t share your badge with anyone else – this is strictly forbidden.

Regarding the new flexible working hours: You can start work any time between 8 AM and 10 AM. However, you must complete your 8 hours and shouldn’t leave before finishing your daily tasks. Team meetings are required on Mondays at 9 AM, but joining virtually is optional if you’re working from home.

About the kitchen area: You should clean up after using the facilities. You mustn’t leave dirty dishes in the sink – it’s not fair to others. While coffee and tea are provided, you don’t have to use the office supplies if you prefer bringing your own.
