youspeakplus.com was set up to help intermediate learners radically improve their speaking skills: to move beyond ‘I can make myself understood‘ and reach true, independent fluency. We aim to help you go beyond your current limits.
With the innovative YSP Program, you’ll find new motivation, abilities and confidence: Your English will finally flow freely.
YSP is an update on the FLOW program methodology which helped many learners achieve a new level of fluency. That program was conceived as an addition to the business English training courses that Jonathan, this site’s creator, was working on. He noted that although participants gained skills in highly specific business competencies, such as negotiation, they felt lost in more general and social situations.
That methodology, refined and proven over B1, B2 & C1 levels, is now available to any learner who wants to get regular speaking practice on a wide range of contemporary issues.

About Jonathan: You Speak PLUS's Creator & Curator
For more than 25 years, Jonathan has dedicated himself to helping learners in Italy achieve their English language goals. During this time, he has:
- Guided countless students to success in Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE examinations.
- Served as a Cambridge Examiner, gaining insider knowledge of what it takes to excel.
- Specialized in language training tailored to professional and corporate environments.
- Established a successful corporate language training company, supporting businesses in enhancing their teams’ communication skills.
- Created a range of training materials for both general and business English courses.
- Designed and managed innovative blended learning programs that combine traditional teaching with digital resources.
- Attained certification in Digital Learning Design (CDLP), staying at the forefront of modern teaching methods.
YouSpeakPlus, his latest venture, brings together Jonathan’s extensive teaching experience and his passion for digital learning. The result is a dynamic, flexible learning environment designed to meet the evolving needs of English language learners everywhere.
Jonathan currently lives in Rome, where he’s assisted by his two faithful (and furry) teaching aides, Calix and Skippy. Together, they add a personal touch to the learning experience, making it as rewarding as it is effective.
