You know, it’s interesting how different all my plans are for next week. Some things are definitely arranged, while others are just ideas or sudden decisions. Let me tell you what’s happening.
First, I have an important appointment with our client Tom on Tuesday morning. We arranged this meeting last month, and I’m going to present our new project proposal. Tom is flying in specially for this, so everything is carefully scheduled. The conference room is booked, and the presentation is ready.
Maria from Marketing called me this morning about lunch. She said, ‘I’m having lunch at the new café tomorrow, would you like to join?’ It was quite spontaneous, but I decided right there to go with her. Sometimes the best meetings happen without too much planning!
Oh, and something exciting – I’ve just decided I will take a short course in project management. I made this decision while looking at our team’s performance reports. It wasn’t planned at all, but I think it will really help our department.
Looking further ahead, our team is going to organize the quarterly conference in December. We haven’t made any arrangements yet, but we intend to start planning next week. I know we’re going to need a bigger venue this time because more people are coming.
I’m meeting with the IT department on Thursday afternoon – that’s all arranged. We’re discussing the new software updates. Actually, while I think about it, I will probably ask them about improving our scheduling system too. That wasn’t in the original plan, but it makes sense to discuss it.
Some colleagues are planning to have dinner after work on Friday. They’re still trying to decide on the restaurant, so nothing is arranged yet. I think I will join them – it’s good to spend time together outside the office.
It’s funny how some things need careful planning and others just happen naturally. Like this voice memo – I didn’t intend to make it this long, but here we are! I suppose I should schedule some time to review all these plans properly tomorrow morning.
