1 Core Meanings of Fresh
The word fresh has several important meanings. When talking about food, fresh means recently produced or harvested. Fresh produce includes fruits and vegetables that were recently picked. We also use fresh to describe something new or different, like a fresh start or a fresh perspective. When someone is energetic after rest, we say they look fresh-faced.
