1 Four Important Job Words

You hear these words at work every day.

Manage means you control something. You organize it. Handle means you do something. You take care of it. Deal with means you work on a problem. You fix it. Look after means you take care of something or someone. You keep it safe.

These four words help you talk about your job. People use them in airports. Managers use them. Workers use them. You can use them now.

2 Manage and Handle

Look at these two words. They are important.

Manage is for big things. You organize many things. Handle is for one thing. You do it or carry it.
